Why did you pick Story Cabin Wedding Films?
The wedding video is something very important to me, so when I was looking for a videographer I was searching for someone high end with the cinematic quality I was looking for. I was drawn to story cabin initially as you had recently won the award for best videographer in the West Midlands for 2019, but sealed the deal when I watched how your films were edited and intimate details you manage to capture.

You guys? ...What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?
John and I are both doctors. We met at medical school, and he now works as a Gastroenterologist whilst I am a GP. We enjoy outdoor adventuring, particularly hiking, and are planning on getting a dog after the wedding. John also enjoys cycling and I enjoy curling up with a geeky book. Our perfect Saturday would be a long country walk/day of hiking in the mountains followed by a meal and drinks at a cosy pub.
The proposal? ...Tell us everything!
November 2018. We were on holiday in artic Norway and had hired a campervan. The weather was absolutely dreadful which made staying in a small campervan even more difficult. One night when the rain finally stopped we were stood in the dark at the back of the van trying to cook dinner when he popped the question. It wasn't romantic or scenic, but it makes the memory all the more special :)

The Venue/s? ... Why this place above anywhere else?
Our original venue cancelled on us! With 6 months to go we had to desperately find a replacement and Gorcott Hall was available. Despite this, it is absolutely perfect for us, and a blessing in disguise as Gorcott Hall suits our style/personalities much better, and they have been wonderful from start to finish.
